Tenavatori is designed for relaxed, unhurried time together for the whole family or groups. The space operates on children’s terms, based on self-directed play and imagination. The content of Tenavatori draws inspiration from the themed exhibitions at Museo Eliel as well as highlights of the annual cycle.
You’ll find Tenavatori on the second floor of Museo Eliel as part of the exhibition River – Nature and history along the River Pielisjoki
Young visitors are guided to Tenavatori by a lively resident of the Pielisjoki – an otter! The nimble otter adventures through the River exhibition in various activities and finally retreats to sleep in its own treasure chamber located in Tenavatori.
Admission to Tenavatori is included in the ticket price of the themed exhibitions.
